Miss Liverpool 2024 Charlotte Grant held an incredible coffee morning followed by a DJ event with the very generous help Ormskirk's Portobello Bar.

She's currently using her Miss Liverpool platform to raise awareness and donations for 'Balls to Cancer', and alongside the most perfect venue at Portobello, Laura’s Cakery, Ormskirk and Sweet Dreams Bakery, Huyton kindly provided the most delicious cupcakes to accompany Saturday's event where Charlotte spoke candidly about the importance of men’s health.

Beside the beautiful bakes, she provided an information table with leaflets, flyers and booklets which opened up conversations about the importance of men checking themselves regularly; calling on local businesses for support, Charlotte had an abundance of prizes to give away throughout her event.

Into the evening and with the help once again from Portobello and 7 local DJs, Charlotte continued raising awareness and money until 2 o’clock in the morning! She's raised a staggering £1500 from an abseil down Liverpool FC - and she doesn’t wish to stop there with her just giving page still open for donations.

Charlotte's entering the Miss England 2024 final next Friday, 17th May; alongside a selection of challenges and categories there's a public vote accessible by downloading the free Miss England app.

She owns her own beauty cosmetics Charlotte Grant Cosmetics and during lockdown donated £1000's of beauty products to NHS staff such is her respect for its workers.

When she was just 10, she broke her back and was in a wheel chair for two years and told she would never walk again.

Thanks to intense treatment at Alder Hey and her determination to walk again she now does acrobatics/trampolining /running; due to long term hospital treatment she missed a lot of schooling yet achieved high achievement awards and obtained A* GCSEs. She's also completed the Duke Of Edinburgh award, gaining a Gold, and in July she's doing a skydive to raise money to support a care home where an elderly relative lives.

Charlotte is also an actress and appeared in TV adverts and as an extra in Coronation St!
